Anyone else want to take a guess at a player who might come out that you weren’t expecting and contributing?

This is a great question. Every year, without fail, there will be a player out on the field who will surprises me - I'll end up having to double check the roster to find their name. Just take a look at any roster prediction post and you'll find surprises littered all over the place, no matter how many players you consider "locks".

One name I wonder about is Koby White, freshman out of Florida who played in New Hampshire. He committed and reclassed which I think made him fly under the radar. He then was injured as a senior which lowered his profile even more. As a junior he was a four star recruit and he's got great size at 6'2 190. I have no idea what kind of impact his injury had on his development, but the tools are there. It seems like the top four SSDMs will be Rice, LeVine, Spallina and Ochoa, but if there is room for one more, I wonder if White will get a look.

I love this shout honestly, I was very very high on Koby before senior year. Was the top player on a very good Sweetlax FL team before reclassifying. I think he could for sure make a break in.

Going back to the last video posted by the team of a seemingly intasquad scrimmage, Chrishawn Hunter seemed to have a few nice moments + goals.

I’m going to predict at some point on Saturday he might role out there with Anderson and Birt on the 2nd line. That would be 6’3” and 6’4” power dodgers creating their own shot or feeding it to Birt on the Adj.

Would keep an eye out for Charlie Kraftson #43. Has a very complete game. Was an under the radar recruit and had no announcement for even joining the team, but he looked great in the fall scrimmage and was one of the first guys they brought out late in games against easier teams once we were up by a bunch. Attack may be tough to crack this year, but if we are having trouble getting the right fit for the second middie line then you might see him out there.

Believe Kraftson was actually a walk on last year.
