It seems Fran has had some concerns with the DBs from pre-season, stating publicly. Just speculating, but I don't think he's been happy with certain guys since the jump.

Not too concerned with this one. Small frame and wasn’t even a starter going into the year. Kerr outshined him towards the end of the season. Another opportunity for a Fran recruit or a portal guy.

Yeah this is maybe the most concerning thing that's happened under Fran, which is obviously a good thing because this isn't a huge deal. But it'll be quite telling where he goes. Essentially we can assume that one of the following is true:

1. Wherever he goes is a step-up in NIL, and we are going to be at risk of losing players to that level school or better in perpetuity.

or

2. Fran is so confident in being able to replace Bellamy that he decided to allocate the money elsewhere.

It's more likely to be 1, so I'm hoping he goes to a legit factory and not a school like Pitt, WVU, etc.

Yea interested in what we do with NIL, some insiders have said around 12 Million we have and outside of Pena and Watson I wonder who’s getting a lot of the money.

It is also an issue / problem to lose a starting caliber corner. Period.

But with Barnes / Bellamy, I wonder if they got coached too hard by HCFB, and couldn't take the intensity or deliver to his satisfaction.

Either way, tough to see two potential starters for next year bail. Hole at corner, despite the young talent waiting in the wings.

Bellamy is going play at a legit factory? Not trying to belittle the kid and want him to stay but our secondary wasn’t great this year.
