JB on ESPN now

Looked too late I guess. A synopsis of what he said? Thanks

He also said we had 5 top 50 wins and felt pretty good about our chances as the other brackets were revealed because some of the other bubble teams that got in lacked the quality wins we had. Also, said in the other years we were snubbed he felt awful because he thought we were deserving but this year he wouldn't have felt quite as bad.

About Cal...he said he doesn't know what he's talking about...he has a big nose (JB) and he isn't Italian. Chuckling. Said that Cal does make sense in many of things he said however. He said it's been a tough year, how his wife wanted him out of the house, presuming he wasn't a peach to be around, etc. Though, they were able to turn things around after a tough stretch. He said after he saw a couple other teams considered bubble teams get in (he named those teams but I can't recall) and they only had 2 wins in top 50, he felt a lot better about our chances since we had 5 against the top 50, and those were on neutral and on the road. Said, he thought nobody else had as many "good wins" in comparison that were considered bubble teams. Went on to say that the committee has a tough job, and that he has commented on the committee in the past about being left out, etc., however, going back over those specific years, he acknowledged that we didn't have as many "quality" top 50 wins. One year not having any, or maybe one.

That's was about it, the segment was kind of short as everybody's favorite Pisan (I'm 100% Italian) hogged up so much air time. Then went right to Jay Wright...

Never underestimate the power of beating Duke in Cameron. Hardly ever happens which makes it very valuable. And the Texas A&M win in Atlantis turned out to be huge. Those 2 wins got us in.

Said the committee looks at good wins. Said in other years we got snubbed, we didn't have the same kind of wins as we do this year.

JB keeping it classy as I said he would either way. Seems like he went out of his way to be nice to the NCAA and possibly try to heal some past statements. JB may not be perfect, but the guy certainly can grow on you!

Was he awake in this interview?
I felt almost suicidal watching him speak with the local media but felt much brighter once I saw him with the national guys. I'm almost bipolar that way.
