I’m not comparing the JB to thing to it, just saying what you do outside of work can have an impact at the workplace. This is a molehill. That was a mountain.

He’s not going to change all of a sudden after getting away with it for 47 years. Why be rude to anyone?
Apparently he has access to SU's financials and ticket sales don't matter.Looks like the newly self appointed board expert has everything figured out. We shall see if that temper is also all sorted out .
Good thing there's a year in year out top 20 team on the hill that is the revenue leader for the AD.He’s not going to change all of a sudden after getting away with it for 47 years.
I have nothing else going on so I'm good.I enjoy getting upset at everything as much as the next guy, but acting like this is some PR nightmare just goes to how sheltered people are in their worlds. PR nightmare is beating your fiancée or buying hookers for your recruits, this press conference stuff is only obsessed over if you have nothing else going on during the day.

That response, should be beneath Jim due to the status and position he has attained. The ‘accused’ gets to state his perspective. If he didn’t think he bullied him, then why wouldn’t he say he didn’t bully him?

Maybe if he's tired of being paid millions to coach a game he could retire to his lake house and live a stress free life away from, checks notes, student journalists.

It reeks of insecurity and pettiness.
A leader can admit their flaws and handle it better. Thats my opinion.
He’s not tired of it, he’s just not changing for your benefit or anyone else’s. You know, like most 78-year-olds.Good thing there's a year in year out top 20 team on the hill that is the revenue leader for the AD.

I read ‘retired’ as a different word and almost spit out my drink.
I need to reflect on that
Well, we should have. And some of us did. JB is a bully. Period. He always has been. I guess he always will be. I don't have any proof of this but I believe it is why the Post Standard went after him in the early 90's and the NCAA went after him a few years back. You just can't be a jerk for no reason at all. Was that question a surprise to JB? Every reporter there would have asked that as their first question. He needs to leave. The sooner the better. Oh, and we don't know how we would react if we were still winning. Because we are not. We aren't anything special anymore. And the only way people still talk about us is when our coach tells us that a punch isn't a punch and a valid question isn't a valid question.Wonder why this is suddenly such a serious issue now after 47 years? Like it or not, he’s always been dismissive to student reporters. So many of the great fans on this board don’t even bother to listen to the podcasts by people like Sean McDonough etc who happened to speak about how it was back in his day. Certainly has become a rallying point for some, suddenly when the team isn’t doing well, meeting expectations. Hmm. Interesting, if we were winning big , who did and would prioritize this? Brent Axe is having a ball with it too.
In all fairness, we do have a few should haves.Hope we get a quality win this year.

You and Brooky. Lol. I understand you don't live here and don't go to the games, but it's sad. And JAB ain't helping matters. The 78-yo cohort is no longer going to be buying the season tickets in 3-4 years.Nobody else cares
