There have been plenty of threads & posts on the Bernie Fine situation. I had a chance to cheer for SU folks that have done something challenging & cool rather than something embarrassing, and think we need heroes to cheer for more than controversies any day. I'm guessing there are more 46's on the board but kudos to you and Orange46r. There have been millions of hikers in the Adirondacks and only something over 5000 people that have completed the high peaks. Two of those are posting here tonite. Thanks!!

It was a welcome hijack, always fun to talk about the Dacks. So many fun tales from those exploits. The universe may be a safer place if you bring a towel, but thehigh peaks are safer if you bring a winter hat, always.
