Since meeting him in high school I've been a big fan. Quality kid who deserves to go out as a regular rotation guy at his next school of choice. Also a win for SU as they have the luxury of another scholarship. Hopefully they use it wisely to get a high end starter via the transfer or a freshman that will be a solid rotation guy.

Not sure he’s an ACC caliber forward (let’s be honest…he’s not) but I hope he gets the opportunity to take this last year to be a major contributor to his future team. But he’s a high character kid regardless who’s going to leave school well rounded.

One thing you will never say about John Bol is that he didn’t play hard. He was an absolute menace on the court albeit a little chaotic lol. Love love loved his energy.

I loved having JBA on the team. It doesn't mean much now, but we don't win the Notre Dame game in South Bend without him.

Aside from his positivity, he flashed some passing skills that were rarely seen from someone with his frame. Wishing him nothing but the best.

Absolutely one of my favorites. His enthusiasm is awesome. i hope he decides to coach young players in the future. He is such a great example of a student athlete. Will he leave with his degree? I sure hope so.

Yeah, and JBA portaled before. He's probably graduating and he's going to get some run at a lower D1 school and get his masters somewhere. Good for him, he's what college athletics is supposed to be about.
