JBA in the portal

Trying to fight Doug Edert after he smacked Judah is the most heart we’ve seen on this team in awhile.

Will always love John Bol.
Ehhhh, Judah slapped him first and JBA running all around the court to beat the breaks off the dude isn’t heart.

Good luck JBA!

He may not have been a great player, but the team seemed to play better a few times when he was in. Looking at the team's record, I wonder why JB didn't at least give him a few more chances.
I'll never forget that attempted 3 that he called for and the immediate hook after. Priceless!

Wish him all the best. Felt like a kid that has been important to the team especially morale wise over the past couple years as things have been tough

Still the most we've seen in awhile lol

Wish him the best. Judah loves this guy! He deserved better then he got. Will be a diplomat someday or working for the UN.
There is more to a team than the stats leaders. Jon Bol considered leaving, did his due diligence and determined his best path was another year or two at Syracuse. We are lucky and proud to have him as a fellow alumnus.

Selfishly, despite the disappointments of this year I was really looking forward to this group staying together for a second year when the players had experience with the system, and, more importantly, the coaches had experience with getting to understand the players. And he would have been a key leadership piece even if he never saw the court for a minute. Will be interesting to see who steps into that void.

He gone.

JBA is a great teammate and has a fantastic attitude.

Good luck to him.

If some of our starters had his attitude, we probably wouldn't have been boatraced off our home court in recent games (at least.)

Yeah JBA didn't see that part. You think he should have asked that little dweeb what Judah did to make him mad first? Nah. JBA is the man. Will be missed.

JBA made the team better on the court and on the bench. He didn't play because he took away minutes from the freshmen and if he did play 15+ minutes there would be a couple of very unhappy freshmen. Jim had to give them experience and to keep them on the team.

I like Bol too. Amazing amount of courage to live through the hardships he has had growing up. Not sure what you mean about deserving better than he got. At SU he deserved better? SU provided Bol great opportunity and it is a great credit to him that he took advantage of it.

Great young man will do great things in the future. This is what college athletics should be about.

I normally don't follow or root for anybody who transfers out, but I will root for Jon Bol. Personable, an outstanding teammate and now a fellow SU alum. I hope he has success at wherever he lands, gets his Masters, and has a great life. Forever Orange, big fella.

Nice kid but we need players that can play against ACC caliber talent and he never had that

Disappointed? Yes
Mad as Hell? Yes
Angry? Yes
Irate? Yes
Furious? Yes
Anxious? No.

Wonder where he ends up. Not sure he has to drop that far down I think he could contribute at the A10 level. Hope he has a good last year and breaks the trend of our transfers struggling.
