With all due respect I feel it is my responsibility to say that the book is awful and anybody considering buying it should not waste $ on it.Just finished reading the Grisham book, Sooley, about a South Sudanese basketball player that comes to the US. Great read and authentic picture of what these kids go through to achieve a better life and the tragic life they leave behind.
The basketball story isn’t all that realistic, but the national hero of South Sudanese basketball players is a superstar who spent his one year in college taking Syracuse to a national title!
It's been a while since I've been back up to SU, but isn't it closed to vehicles now?Congrats to Jon on his remarkable achievement. Also, the car in that location raises some interesting questions.

That would be a good spot for him. Not sure if Binghamton or LeMoyne have a spot? I expect he is looking for a specific Masters Program.I would LOVE if UMass reached out to JBA. Our presumed backup center went portaling this week and I actually think that Jon Bol can contribute to winning off of the bench in the A10.
Don't they have 2 freshman centers coming in? Martin is going to play Cohen a lot, probably give the 7 footer some situational minutes for development, can't see where JBA could get PT.I would LOVE if UMass reached out to JBA. I’d be surprised if the 7 footer plays much. Reclass kid who has only been in America for a year or two I think. And Martin will play two bigs at once if he has the pieces.Don't they have 2 freshman centers coming in?
