I think he did an awesome job for us last year. But, as mentioned elsewhere, how much of this was due to the good fortune of landing Kyle McCord via the portal?

Now, with Nixon coming back, I am optimistic we will do well on offense, but if there is a drop-off, it will be easier to say it is likely due to a (relative) talent drop at QB.

If there is no significant drop-off, then we are in for quite a ride!

The biggest cheers of the bball game last night is when Fran and the team showed up 4 mins into the game and then when they brought the bowl game trophy onto the court with everyone. I know next year will be hard with the schedule but they are doing all the right things and keeping everyone excited and engaged

So…am I the only one thinking that when he didn’t get the Texans job. Ohio State called? I thought it would’ve been bizarre if he went there, but getting the call from OSU does likely mean the other factories will come calling soon as well. They announce the promotion of Hartline yesterday, could’ve it had been Nixon or Internal for them? The feeling on this is that I’m not sure we would fight off the NFL with an aggressive move like this, but another college program yes.

Great news for sure and i think the interest in Nixon was probably a bit more than we even realized from other programs. I think the Eagles could have called when Moore takes the Saints job. You never know, he's obviously in demand and has a solid resume. When you have the # 1 rated passing offense in college you will get interest

as far as OSU, I think Hartline was in line for the promotion, he's been there as the WR coach and very well respected for some time. He was announced on Monday as well.

I think Nixon will eventually either head to the NFL as an OC or get a head coaching gig at a P4 school if he has continued success but good for now. 1 year at a time when it comes to staff and players
