...is ruining a very good Lakers v. Thunder game. Constantly babbling about his own agenda and infusing his not funny commentary that has nothing to do with the game. When did he start to suck this bad?

He was better with Mark Jackson they had I great back and worth, but he is still one of my favorites. Him complaining about flopping has helped the game.

Used to like him too. Needs MJ to keep him in check.

He did a 10 minute bit on adding Steph Curry to the East All Star team to replace Rondo even tho he is in the Western Conf. And can't do a LA game without the proverbial discussion of his brother and Howard's relationship. Nobody cares but the Van Gundy household. It's been beaten to death.

I think ESPN/ABC want him to push the Van Gundy/Howard angle. The Lakers are becoming the new Tim Tebow

Very true. I'm a Laker fan and I'm sick of hearing about them. Also shows you how little anyone really cares about the NBA overall. It's Lakers, Lebron and Honey Nut Cheerios.
