I’m pretty sure that he’s going to be 22 or 23 next season. The worry wasn’t him transferring it was going someplace to get paid to play basketball as a professional.

Or, that he’d go the “explore the draft” route, and then choose to go elsewhere if his prospects weren’t what he’d hoped to hear.

I’m absolutely thrilled Jesse is returning!!

But - let’s not act like he couldn’t have gone to pretty much any other program and started,
and be playing somewhere that’s ranked all year long, a shoo-in to play in the Tournament, and not have a crotchety old coach who throws him under the bus in every presser.

This is gonna sound harsh but we need JBA to move on and do something with Chaz’s scholarships. At this point they are just give away sand we need to use them. We could use them for a legit transfer PG and a legit transfer forward. We are still not a great team if both those scholarships are tied up with those guys and we can’t use them to improve the roster. Harsh but it’s the reality and neither one of them will ever contribute or play meaningful minutes here

I think people are assuming Sy as starting PG, but that’s not a given.
