Meh. Torrance played good in the first and and should have played more for Buddy who had zero legs today. So good Torrance deserves to start at point

Joe has been really good. He scored like 10 of our last 12 points when nobody else could buy a bucket.
Using a football / baseball position metaphor - Joe's position is "basketball player" - like Reggie Jackson's position "at bat"Meh. Torrance played good in the first and and should have played more for Buddy who had zero legs today.

Joe was good at the end of the game, but his +/- for the game was 1. I would suggest no one else could buy a bucket because we played our main scorers 40 minsMeh. Torrance played good in the first and and should have played more for Buddy who had zero legs today.

Agree , he should have not been taken out, G3 slows the team down to a stale offenceSo good Torrance deserves to start at point
I know the numbers, but Buddy had his worst game since Duke and was forcing it late. He should have sat some today instead of Joe in the second half IMO.Joe was good at the end of the game, but his +/- for the game was 1. symir’s +/ was 9 in 10 mins.
So tired of this redundant crap. Open your eyes. He is a very good point guard against those teams who don’t have a lock down man defender. He is inconsistent and his judgment is not perfect. Gerry couldn’t play against the BC guards who could shut him down. Edelin treated them like kids on the playground. I like what Symir brings off the bench. He is just short of an offensive void on a team which cannot have such a void over sustained periods of time. Girard has adapted increasingly well to a new role and brings a lot to the table to balance his deficiencies.Glad he hit some shots for us but not his fault he's been shoehorned into something he's not.
NO! He’s bad and he’s needs to leave syracuse! Who are you, Joe’s mom?So tired of this redundant crap. Open your eyes. No doubt. Don’t disagree that some Symir and Joe would have been nice as well. Maybe without Buddy on the floor for 5 mins, we could highlight Cole moreI know the numbers, but Buddy had his worst game since Duke and was forcing it late. We know what JB is going to do with the bench now so I guess I need to stop banging my head, but I want Girard in at the end mainly because of his free throw shooting.
I wish a few people would recognize this difference.Joe was good at the end of the game, but his +/- for the game was 1. I would suggest no one else could buy a bucket because we played our main scorers 40 mins

+/- is just a dumb bball stat, it make sense in hockey but not bball..I wish a few people would recognize this difference.
They were up double digits almost the entire second half and finished the game up 9. They scored 70 pts with nothing from Edwards and an off night from Buddy.Agree , he should have not been taken out, G3 slows the team down to a stale offence
Seems to me this is a narrative which the evidence wholly refutes.Agree , he should have not been taken out, G3 slows the team down to a stale offence
I dont buy the O void. Symir opens up the floor with his ability to beat pressure. So tired of this redundant crap. Open your eyes. I understand your pov theoretically. However, having five guys to worry about offensively is just tougher to coach against. Also, the notion that an elite scorer is having an off night is best reserved for the post game box score. You never know when the switch turns. Your analysis also ignores the very special dimes Joe drops. He sees the floor well.I dont buy the O void. Symir opens up the floor with his ability to beat pressure.
When Joe faces pressure half of the shot clock is gone.
Joe shot the ball well but hes playing out of position. The problem isn't Joe or Symir is Jims lack of pulling Buddy when he is having an off night.
I watched Steph Curry shoot 5-13 in 29 minutes last night in a game they lost to the Jazz by 26 points. Steph just couldn't get it going, but anyone watching the game, knew that any given time he could go on a run. Coaches respect great shooters and instill in their defenses the importance of never leaving a great shooter open.I understand your pov theoretically. Yeah, because he doesn’t do that.joe didnt play well for long stretches of the game
8 foul shots or whatever at the end doesnt change that
that three in the corner was awesome...but it was just one play
he really needs to look for other players besides buddy

I tend to agree - if Sy played major minutes teams would just not guard him.I understand your pov theoretically. However, having five guys to worry about offensively is just easier to coach against.
