Tell you what ?40% of all people that contract the virus are asymptomatic so you tell me

This is what's scary. Does anyone really know how long the virus stays on surfaces. Does he get his lunch delivered? Unless you are in a true bubble you could come in contact no matter how careful you are. Look how many programs are infected.Hoping for the best for everyone involved. Would be very interested to hear how this happened with all the protections the team and university have put in place.
he's way more fit and healthy than a recent famous 74 year old who got it & recovered quickly
my heart is with jb & my money is on him
It’s transmitted person to person a huge majority of the time. Guess it could have been a fluke . Never know. This is what's scary. Does anyone really know how long the virus stays on surfaces. My nephew is a manager for UAlbany basketball. UAlbany had a player test positive a week and a half ago. My nephew had no recent contact with that individual. UAlbany basketball operations were suspended for two weeks. My nephew has been at home since then with virtual learning. The only time he left his parent's home in that time span was to go to UAlbany for Covid testing three time a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday). He's been nowhere else. His Monday and Tuesday tests were negative. He developed headaches Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning. His Thursday test was positive. After waking up in a pool of sweat on Friday morning, he now feels fine. He's quarantined for 14 days. His parents and brother are also quarantined and were tested yesterday; they'll have results by Tuesday. He doesn't know how he contracted Covid. The only outside contact he's recently had was with the testers.Hoping for the best for everyone involved. Would be very interested to hear how this happened with all the protections the team and university have put in place.
Godspeed to your nephew. My nephew is a manager for UAlbany basketball. UAlbany had a player test positive a week and a half ago. My nephew had no recent contact with that individual. Official protocol, they have to stopI feel bad for coach I do however if the entire team were being careful why not have red coach the team in JB’s absence?
I’m sure JB will be fine, the same as 70 year old Nick Saban was and 98% of everyone who catches it.
Well, Nick Saban was a false positive. As are a high percentage of these so-called "asymptomatic" cases.
It would be ironic if testers were actually spreading the virus. After all, testers probably have lots more contact with infected people than the average person does.... He doesn't know how he contracted Covid. The only outside contact he's recently had was with the testers.
He is in shape and takes good care of himself but its the age that worries me.JB will be fine. He is in great shape, doesn't have any symptoms and will be well taken care of. Hopefully the vaccine will be approved and the world can begin to turn the tide.
Prayers for coach.

I have been tested 3 times since it started. Drive through at Binghamton University. They are very careful only letting you roll window down a little ways and all. But there are a lot of different testing procedures. It would be ironic if testers were actually spreading the virus. Yeah, sure he was.
Stick to cheap pitchers, Chuck.
Yeah. He's retraced his steps and that's the only recent contact. Who knows. It would be ironic if testers were actually spreading the virus. After all, testers probably have lots more contact with infected people than the average person does.
I believe my nephew had to enter the athletic facility to be tested.I have been tested 3 times since it started. Drive through at Binghamton University. They are very careful only letting you roll window down a little ways and all. But there are a lot of different testing procedures.
You're right about lots of different testing procedures. The procedure used in your case sounds good. When I was tested, I had to go into a small room with the testing technician, close the door, take off my mask and get "swabbed." The technician wore a mask, but had no other PPE. The whole procedure only took a minute or so, but I was a little concerned knowing that lots of others had also been tested throughout the day in that small room.I have been tested 3 times since it started. Drive through at Binghamton University. They are very careful only letting you roll window down a little ways and all. But there are a lot of different testing procedures.
I got tested in August on Griffiss and it was the same. It was a little eerie with military directing you around and everybody in the testing area with full body PPE hahaI have been tested 3 times since it started. Drive through at Binghamton University. He never seemed too concerned. At 74 he’s obviously higher risk.
Prayers...
