Hope Coach is better and back soon. Also, Twitter is a sick place, especially when scum can make pathetic comments like some of the ones I saw under Rothstein’s tweet, including some POS saying he’s “cheering for the rona this time”. Unsurprisingly, this loser has a whopping 30 followers.

Since this was obviously caught early and Jim has no symptoms at the moment, they might want to give him the monoclonal antibody therapy in order to head any progression off at the pass. Joe Schmoe wouldn’t be able to get this but Boeheim can afford it. I will be interested to see what his treatment team suggests.

I feel pessimistic and sad that college basketball will be able to happen.

Going off on tangent here but since when did # of followers (popularity) determine if someone is a loser? If he had 500,000 followers would it make his comment any more justified?

Agreed. But your immune system just isn’t the same as it is when you’re younger.
Yes, as an older person with no other health conditions, my goal is to not get it, period. What I find so discouraging is how hard Coach and the team worked to “stay safe,” yet it snuck in there anyway. Selfishly, I want there to be a college basketball season. But mostly, I want Boeheim to recover with no lasting residuals, which do plague people.

yeah...
even more than before this just leads me to believe that the vast majority of teams that don't end up as "on the list" simply are not reporting their cases

I’m sure JB will be fine, the same as 70 year old Nick Saban was and 98% of everyone who catches it.

Not to nitpick, but 99% according to the Worldometers site. :)

My 84 year old step grandmother is diabetic, asthmatic and prone to annual bouts of pneumonia and came through with flying colors on a 3 week CoVid treatment plan. That gives me hope that many older Americans can fare better than what happened at the beginning of this crisis when there was little known. JB can beat this. That said this thing is dangerous and it's a killer no matter how much better we get treating it.
