Listen huge loss. One man’s loss is another man opportunity. We’ve seen some recent success in these situations. Hell if we are talking football, Sean Tucker was like 4th on the depth chart before we took off from one game.

I have a weird feeling Choppa is going to make the most of this opportunity and really take off. Lampkin, Davis and Freeman will still hold down the front court. Where this REALLY hurts us is we have to play Carlos more. Really would be nice if Westry can start giving us minutes today. Would really change my outlook on how bad I think the rest of this season goes

2) Bell/Taylor
3) Davis/Bell
4) Freeman
5) Lampkin

The only advantages we have right now are the potential to play 2 elite shooters at once (Moore/Bell) and length for rebounding/steals. We might as well see how far that takes us. Ball handling and defense would be an adventure...

All we can do now is our best - be the best we can be. But that extends to when JJ gets back. Every game should be our best.

I would absolutely take the air out of the ball tonight. Either got a fast break shot in the first 5 seconds or work the ball until the last five. Send all five guys to the defensive boards. No one gets to leak out.
Tennessee wants to push tempo with their defense. CANNOT have stupid live ball turnovers to have any chance.
Only chance to win is in the low 60s IMO. You have to have a plan tonight. Can’t just play a roll the ball out type game. Maybe switch defenses. Run through the offense, get the ball into the paint and reverse it out. I need to see more from this staff tonight.

Just got info JJ broke his wrist yesterday before they left. Damn. that’s horrible.

I broke my wrist a couple months ago. They don't heal as quickly as a broken bone located mid-arm, because you can't stop using your hands. It impedes healing when you can't really rest the injury. This really sucks. Well, at least Red has an excuse now if things go all to hell.

If it's not his shooting hand, he might be able to play. If not, next man up. We have seen teams coalesce and regroup with a major player down. Moore has proven that he can contribute, Cuffe and Carlos both have a golden opportunity to show that as veterans they can step in and fill the void. Bell, also must lead as the most senior player on the team. It is a great chance for us to see what this team is made of win or lose. Its all about fight and effort tonight.

Doubtful. Broken wrists hurt. You can't stop bending the joint. I broke my wrist this fall when I tripped over my coffee table. Not a full break, either, but cracks in 2 different bones where the thumb connects to the wrist. After 8 weeks, my wrist is still sore and weak. You can't avoid using your hands in life; it extends the recovery time because you can't really rest it.
