No. Terrible basketball IQ, like every other Memphis player. Let him transfer to a mid major.Wouldn't be a bad pickup for us... Though he is a small guard for the top if the zone, he is extremely quick... Would strive on our fast breaks, as he goes end to end as fast as any1... Thoughts?
Unless Pastner starts recruiting actual basketball players instead of the most athletic players he can find, they won't be good. I think Pastner is a nice coach, but he has to stop being a wannabe Calipari. I understand it's tough since Memphis lost their appeal after being top 5 for 3 seasons but he needs to get basketball players on that team.He is a pretty decent kid and thought well of as a person in Memphis. Pashner will eventually do well at Memphis and in conf USA. Once they get in conference play they will get more wins. I think this year the stable is full. Might be a good add if DW leaves.
Welcome to the South! Just left Wens to head back to Cortland. Yes Memphis fans can be very delusional. It is a lot like Ole Miss, Vols fans. Check out the Commisary in Germantown. Great BBQ joint with qustionable service. Rondezvous downtown is great for ribs and a night at the Forum and then Beale Street is a must. Lots of great festivals in May. Whatever you do stay out of Orange Mound and North Memphis (n).Moved to Memphis in July. I am surprised that the tiger fans think this team should be a top 10 team. They are a bunch of great athletes, all the same size (6'5/6'6) all the same game without any role players or passers. They play one on one without any semblance of a set offense. Jackson is supposedly a good kid but I don't think his game or skill set fits with what JB likes to do. Plays like a Rutgers guard.
