You think he's the only one thinking that, or if he's not hearing that directly from his uncle. Combine that with Gattis exploding on Rickie on the sidelines and the overall atrocious play it's obvious to everyone that he is not ready and was never ready. This is the frustration that everyone involved seems to be feeling coming out in the heat of the moment. Of course he shouldn't have said that, but it's a sneak peak of what's going on internally. Fran has his work cut out for him. I don't know how he looks at film and possibly sticks with him coming out of a bye week.

And to proudly announce himself beforehand as Johntay's uncle, and seemingly wanting to take credit for the kid being on his 3rd school, shows an utter disregard for how selfish he sounds.
So what if he's right, it still was wrong and puts his nephew in a tough position w/ Rickie and most likely the coaching staff. Stupid.

Society is pathetic these days. Would I be frustrated if my son or whomever was a receiver and his starting QB went down so he is clearly going to have less talent throwing the ball to him? Yeah. But I would also understand his fricken starting QB went down. This is life! You lookin a fool and johntay has done nothing but the right things since being at cuse. This isn’t his fault, and he has been a great addition for us. If the caller had two brain cells he would realize his QB1 is back next season and they’re going to “cook” again. So buckle in, do your BEST to help the team win with what’s given. That’s all anyone can do right now. If I was johntay I would call every family member and let them know what’s up if they ever think they can talk about the team I play for, that’ll be the last time you hear from me again.

Edit addition: also, I do feel for how upset the caller was, I am beyond frustrated as a fan to see how much QB1 controls the outlook of our team. The drop off is staggering and the fact we fall apart completely due to that is alarming, and annoying. I was yelling at my TV in frustration for how pitiful our QB is. I get it. But you say stuff behind closed doors.

since the portal was changed in 2021 so that players could transfer w/o sitting out a year, combine with NIL, playing for four colleges in four years will become commonplace. I doubt that the NFL cares if they feel the player can play
