You can be one summer course short on May 1st, Maybe thats a different portal window?
Dealing with kids like I do, there are many where Hope is the key word on May 1st.

There were two portal windows one for undergrads which closed on 4/30 and the other for grads 5/1.You can be one summer course short on May 1st, Maybe thats a different portal window?

I haven't seen anything that says they aren't required to enter the transfer portal if they are transferring to a lower division. The NCAA has requirements that have to be met to transfer like making sure the player meets academic qualifications. Plus the portal is like a "candidate" placement site. It's a way for schools to know a player is transferring and is eligible.Correct me if I’m wrong CuseLegacy but do you still need to enter the portal to go to a lower division?
A lesson Will Hicks never learned.Bigger isn’t always better on the O line, kid struggled to move at his weight.
84With Ellis leaving, what is the current scholarship headcount?
Why would he have been a lock to get reps? He’s significantly overweight, doesn’t move well and is injury prone….That's shocking considering he was a lock to get reps. I wonder what happened.
I'll give this information here since you're incessant criticism of Will Hicks over the years is so irrelevant relating to Ellis' situation. This is totally on Dino's staff.A lesson Will Hicks never learned.
Hicks is great to have around. All the alumni communicate through him. He makes them feel valued and that's what Fran wants.I'll give this information here since you're incessant criticism of Will Hicks over the years is so irrelevant relating to Ellis' situation. This is totally on Dino's staff.
I been told by a very reliable source that HCFB and staff were shocked/appalled with the team's overall S&C program when they arrived. They described the players as "soft" and believe (like many here) that their lack of proper training/conditioning may have led to the ridiculous number of injuries and the extended rehabilitation times.
As we've all heard in the various staff interviews, one of the goals was to transform players bodies...especially reducing body fat percentage. I think the writing was on the wall for Ellis because there is no way he could compete at his weight. I hope he finds a good landing spot and, eventually, gets his weight under control.

She hot tho?Hicks is great to have around. All the alumni communicate through him. He makes them feel valued and that's what Fran wants.
Thanks for sharing that info. I am not surprised. True story here. The first year Dino came in. He did a coaching clinic for local HS coaches. Each coach presented including Edinger. Edinger was so unprepared. He talked about nothing. His presentation started off about a date he had the previous night. I had no confidence in him after that.

Escorted out of the building implies some kind of malfeasance. I think it’s disappointing for all that it didn’t work, kid showed promise, and I get he owns his conditioning , but why kick him or anyone else on the way out the door when it’s like this. No sign he’s a bad kid.I think members of the waltzing matilda brigade have been politely thanked for their service, after which they have been escorted out of the building...Good luck to them all.
Didn't realize we had any australians on the teamI think members of the waltzing matilda brigade have been politely thanked for their service, after which they have been escorted out of the building...Good luck to them all.
With von Marburg now gone...Didn't realize we had any australians on the team
Hicks sat in my section when Cuse played at Louisville in 2019. All kinds of alums coming to say hello.Hicks is absurdly beloved and he's so well connected.
Malfeasance was your interpretation. DetailAccountableRelentlessTough implies that certain standards will be maintained without excuse or apology. I think you can fail to maintain those standards for any number of reasons, malfeasance only being one of them. I celebrate the introduction of a meritocracy that acknowledges the values of self-discipline, sustained effort, and continuous improvement and leadership that imposes consequences when expectations are unmet.Escorted out of the building implies some kind of malfeasance. To further cement this point, if you watch the no destination podcast the Big General talks about how weak the S&C program was when he got here….said he was doing harder stuff at his HS in Texas
