It might take him 5 weeks to get in game shape, so that be how that works out.

You never know if a kid wants to redshirt. I’m sure he’s thinking i started since my Freshman year that’s my job. I’d always be concerned with kids from so far away that their sick of the travel when going home and decide to go somewhere on the other coast.

My opinion is, you play him when/if he's ready. He's from 6,000 miles away. No one wants to be 6,000 miles from home and NOT play.
