Kansas is awful

What's more surprising is how unimpressive Kentucky is.

The Big 12 is down considerably this year. But Kansas literally has 1 or maybe 2 good players. This isn't a top 25 team quite frankly. Kentucky's starting 5 is very talented but Kansas has muddied this one up a bit.

Yeah, but UK's freshmen are WAYYYYYYY better than KU's freshmen.

At least this tournament has more than 1 top 25 teams in it. Note my first post(on the early or late game thread). Of course, I am rarely happy with our non-conference schedule. Not sure if you all just saw the upcoming schedules of those teams.

It's early, not sure it's fair to say how either of these teams are going to be this season, but Kansas certainly needs to improve and I wouldn't doubt they will to some extent.

It's not a tournament. It's just a "showcase" of games pitting Duke vs MSU, UK vs KU.

They are playing a round robin format over a 3 year period at 3 different locations across the country. There is no Duke/UK championship game at MSG. Stinks, because that would have been a good game to watch.

Dang, I am disappointed to hear that. I was looking forward to it. It's early in the season, I am not tuned up myself yet.

I don't know. I wouldn't want to play UK come march. Right now is a different story.
