Seriously, what this does is set things up for a major upgrade to all our facilities. Football will get its own building. The present football building will be gutted and reconfigured for offices for the Olympic Sports HCs with a huge weight room on the first floor. Another building that the $40 M helps pay for will house the Olympic Sports locker rooms , team rooms, etc. At present the Olympic sports all have their lockers in trailers in the parking lot. They were housed in University Hall (U Hall) which was loaded with asbestos and imploded. AD Carla Williams, President Jim Ryan, Ralph Sampson and Dawn Staley pushed the plunger.
