Clemson fans seem to be clamoring for rhe freshman lawrence. He threw for 176 and 4 tds last game. Interesting wrinkle this week. Could impact game prep. It seems more likely to me both qbs will play. Will be interesting to see who gets the nod in a close game.

Btw - im setting over under on alton sacks at 2.

Both will play, but I think eventually it's going to be Lawrence's full time job. The kid is just that good.

I feel more comfortable if we blitz more times than not! I could be wrong and there's a playcall for every situation. But I like the idea of sending pressure against a young inexperienced QB!

Theyve slowly been working in Lawrence, but I think this is the game he starts and Kelly Bryant isnt getting the job back thats for sure. Lawrence is going to be a star.

I haven't seen Lawrence play but am intrigued to see a kid with such long hair starting at QB for a conservative program like Clemson.

Looking at a picture of him with his helmet off, it looks to me like he has dyed highlights in his hair. How did he not end up at Stanford or Cal?

I got you. No he hasn't. Our offensive line has held up pretty well this year and he hasn't seen any complicated coverage schemes. This weekend will bring a different look that I hope he is prepared for.

A few. And Lawrence is enormous.

I am still figuring out what I think will happen ... The default is that they cover and while we put up a fight, ultimately we don't have enough to pull off an upset two years in a row.

But, Venables does have trouble with our O and Dino showed that they know how to attack them. Our OL is better than they were last year. Eric causes problems.

On D - do they have a passer that can dissect our coverages? Can they block our improved DL all game?

I think we have a shot.
