Yeah you could tell it was personal. Cal lost his cool and went on a rant with those twitter posts though. The UK fans think it was a message to them because they aren't exactly thrilled with him having the best talent the past decade and one title so he aired the laundry out to play the I do things right card look at me vs handling things behind closed doors.
