Kentucky implosion

OMG you should listen to his local radio shows. He portrays himself as somewhere between Mother Teresa, Joan of Arc and the Pope. And many of the fans treat him the same way. And then are also 90 year grandmothers that call and question his not using 3/4 court pressure D during the last 2 minutes of the first half when they're only up 15. I haven't listened so far this year. Probably pretty funny. I really try not to but sometimes come across it. It's good comedy.

This year may be a fun year to listen to him...

What did he do? Ask to take real classes?

I'll show myself out.

UK players are clear that is not allowed during recruitment.

As for picking on UK- no worries. There are a few Calipari fanboys and fangirls on here but they are busy talking about how bad our 6-1 start is and how we aren't going anywhere so they are occupied at the moment.

UK and Washington blow, and the Cuse is 6-1. Gonna be a long year for some! Lol.

In today’s loss to Louisville:
Terrence Clarke 16 minutes 0 points 0 boards 0 assists 1 to
Isaiah Jackson 21 minutes 7 points 7 boards 3 to
Olivier Sarr 22 minutes 1 point 1 board 0 assists 2 to
I know it’s a weird year but maybe if this continues recruits won’t assume they should just head to Kentucky. Not rooting against the kids, I know we tried to get both Clarke. and Jackson.
But watching that fraud Calipari lose is delicious.

That’s all great and all that they are losing but Terrence Clark will be a lottery pick or mid first rounder and the nba draft dream stays alive at Kentucky. I would love to go 1-6 and be able to recruit the cream of the crop BC they get kids drafted year after year. We can hate all we want, but these kids will keep becoming 1st round picks no matter how many games they lose

it would be interesting to compare where kids are projected in the NBA draft prior to their freshman year at UK and where they actually get drafted.

Guys drop even at Kentucky. Ask Quickley and Richards, two of the most recent examples. There are plenty of others. Clarke, as good as he is, will not be a lottery pick with continued results like today’s. I don’t expect that to continue in his case.

I don't know any top recruits, but I know alot of college athletes and students, and winning is super important to them. And the ones that choose Kentucky don't like to think that they were on the worst UK team in twenty years. Or that they are at the bottom of the SEC standings.

At the least, it'll make recruiting a little harder for Calipari, and maybe the next time the NBA comes calling he listens.

Clarke will be a lottery pick in the next draft. Book it.

He doesn’t even look like a capable college player. He doesn’t do anything well.

It's not the player, it's the coaching.

I view him as Andrew Wiggins type of player. Will never blow your socks off but the league will drool over his potential.

how does this UK implosion project out into the future for UK?

I hope it gets really bad and the program crumbles before our eyes...what if they don't make double digit wins this season? will that be enough?
