1) Defense has to play much better tomorrow. This won't be easy, given Carolina's middies have a significant size advantage over our short sticks. I expect Carolina to go after them again but we can't allow them to dominate this match-up.
2) Wardwell has to play well. In our 2 losses this year, I thought Notre Dame's goalie (Doss) and Burke outplayed Wardwell. Wardell has to play at least as well or better than Burke.
3) Wing play must be improved. Williams can't win every face-off to himself. In the Carolina game our wings were nearly non-existent and we need them to be battling for ground balls if Williams tires out.
4) Conditioning must be better. I thought our defense and Williams looked worn out late during the Carolina game. Hopefully the coaches have made this a point of emphasis in practice this week leading up to game.
