And you don’t think this is going to make them want to leave sooner? Lol
Exactly, only an idiot wouldnt want FSU in if you are an ACC cuse fan.
And you don’t think this is going to make them want to leave sooner? Lol
Next year's lineup--But they will. They're still going to take an SEC team over an ACC team, even if it’s for the 12th spot.
And if FSU and the other actual football schools leave, the view of the ACC by the committee will diminish even further.
Doubt it. SEC probably never gets more than 4 the teams and all will need to be top 10 ranked after the CCGs with the AQs.Next year's lineup--
5 SEC
3 B1G
1 ACC
1 Big XII
1 G5
and ND
Did you see Sankey on College Gameday yesterday? The put a bracket up based upon the top 12 going into yesterday's conference championships. It showed 4 SEC plus Texas, and he was quick to mention that Texas would be in the SEC next season. And the B1G had 3, plus newbies Oregon and Washington.Doubt it. The problem won’t too many in the field of 12 it’ll be the last 4 when only SEC schools are left in the last 4 bc no one can beat them. FSU over Auburn the first season is the only time that conference lost to anyone outside of the Clemson wins.
When Travis got hurt there was no good outcome for the ACC. That freshman QB wouldn’t get a single point against Michigans D they’d get shut out like Iowa did and lose by 30-40.
The backup QB is a junior! FFS, he was out with a concussion, but will be back for the bowl game.Doubt it. SEC probably never gets more than 4 the teams and all will need to be top 10 ranked after the CCGs with the AQs.

11 spots for 4 conferences that almost averages out to 3 each. The top 10 gets in and conference won’t matter.Did you see Sankey on College Gameday yesterday? Settle down Francis11 spots for 4 conferences that almost averages out to 3 each. The top 10 gets in and conference won’t matter.
Again I wouldn’t focus on how many of the 12 the SEC gets but rather the final four. It might be all SEC teams annually bc no one can beat them.
FSU went out of their way to destroy the ACC a few months ago you reap what you sow.
Really disappointed in our clueless, reactionary fans cheering on the FSU snub like it’s a good thing.Everyone talks big until we’re in the second league and no one cares about it just like the FCS
Just looked up the committee and saw that Boo Corrigan, the NC St athletic director was the actual chairman of the college football selection committee. Interesting. The other ACC rep was Jim Grobe, former Wake Forest coach. Who knows about the former Notre Dame player? Seems like ACC interests had representation - well at least the state of North Carolina had representation, surprise, surprise.I personally agree with you. Just saying it's likely how the committee handled it.
This is what is known in antitrust terms as a duopoly, and their anticompetitive behavior is what you'd expect. Btw not enough attention being paid to Liberty being selected as the G5 New Year's bowl rep over SMU; apparently being undefeated over a weak schedule doesn't matter so much there. What does matter is another $$ shot against a school about to join the ACC.The backup QB is a junior! FFS, he was out with a concussion, but will be back for the bowl game.
I got laughed out of the Mullen thread for suggesting FSU Clemson UNC Miami etc would be leaving in a few years. Who’s laughing now
Find a more credible source … they are like a broken clock.
In 2025 when Fran destroys Tennessee in the opener reroute to a 12-1 record, the ACC will get 3. And 3 of the final 4 will be from the ACC.In the 12 teamer, we'll get a team in for sure, and occasionally a 2nd one. The next fight will be seedings.
Are the early rounds played on neutral/bowl game sites or do the higher seeds get home games?
