Kris was PISSED at Dion at the end of the game

The play where Kris was under the basket I was glad that Dion held on to the ball, if he threw it away JB would've ripped him for it. The fast break was a play I'd like for DW to make, but given the way he usually finishes I don't deem it that big a deal. If he feels more comfortable going for the bucket so be it.

This thread topic is weak, IMO.
Besides having no idea as fans whether KJo was really pissed at DW, other than that he "looked" like it, it seems like a pot shot more than anything else.
A couple of games ago, CJ put up a shot EVERYTIME he touched the ball, going like 3-9 & finally getting yanked by JB. There was hardly a mention on this board about his "selfishness, etc".
Theres been no indication that JB, DW, KJo or anyone else has a problem with how our #1-ranked, UNDEFEATED team is sharing the ball. Leave it up to glass-half-empty fans to fill in their own blanks!

My explanation. Think Kris was steamed? I think Dion was more upset.

Both Kris and Dion are gone to the NBA after this season. Their resumes are worth big bucks. Dion is the star on this team, so why was Kris on the floor 50% longer (10 mins more) last night? Think Dion was oblivious to this stat?

Had Dion made that pass and Kris scored (a pretty sure thing), Kris would have been the game leading scorer or at least tied Dion. As it was, even being 10 mins less on the floor, Dion was the top SU scorer last night and holds an 8-7 lead over Kris for top scorer on the team.

The game was sealed when that pass could have been made. Why would Dion deny himself the title of leading scorer on the top team in America? He made a smart decision for himself, even if not a brotherly one.

A lot of dumb posts in this thread but this may be the dumbest. So what you're saying is that KJ and Waiters are gonna avoid passing each other the ball so they can be leading scorer? lol Nobody here is a mindreader so stop tryin to be, this team has great chemistry and plays as a team which is a big reason why their #1 and undefeated.

Oh Lord

That wasn't it. Dion got it over half court in a press break situation. He had a wide open lob to Kris, but per JB instructions he was killing clock so he held the ball. The problem with that is he was fouled immediately which stopped the clock and made the 2 points harder to get. Also since there was like 1:07 on the clock, the clock would have run after the basket. This is the price you pay for icing the clock, Dion was just following instructions.

I agree with this, although KJo was right under the basket alone. However, on the fast break (flip over the head) play, Dion had no business refusing to pass. As a guard, he obviously knows that if you draw the defense on a break, you pass. And he drew the defense.

You guys should look at Dion's twitter. He's constantly "retweeting" comments from fans about him being the best player in the country, being a lottery pick in the NBA draft this year, getting compared to DWade, etc.

So it's obvious Dion is reading all this, not sure if we can say for sure though that's its gotten to his head.

Comedic gold.

Seriously? No really though, seriously?

I agree with the assessment that Dion needs to stop the Paul Harris routine ( 1 on 3-5 basketball). However, Kris needed a fire lit under his a$$ last night. Kris's best play was a jump ball in which he finally fought for a defensive rebound.

This is a powerfully dumb post. Might want to sit the next couple of plays out...

Triche does the same thing, as does MCW, as does Fab...

Yikes.

I highly doubt that Dion was thinking "If I pass to Kris, that means he will have more points than me".

I think much of this thread is the need for some drama. I think people are so used to it they don't know how to go without it.

Thread could have easily been about Dion maybe should have passed on that one (even though we won, shouldn't ever be harm in breaking down plays). Instead, to me, it was more about how mad Kris was. Drama! Need it, want it, have to have it. Otherwise, this season wouldn't be fun to follow.
