I'm sure Kyle is happy just to hear his name and so am I, but would have been nice to go to a spot where there was a more realistic chance to start without an injury. But we'll see how he does!
Agree. There is already interest in Tanner McKee. He looked excellent both in preseason and during the game against the Jints. It's not a bad spot. Tanner McKee likely gets traded after this season if McCord proves he can be QB2 (he will). Eagles backup QB gets more snaps than most teams because they're likely to have nothing to play for the last game of the year and have some mop up duty available.
Uh, no. McKee proved he wasn't trash.Eagles backup QBs are trash so definitely has a shot at making the 53
The best franchise currently in the nfl. Howie just knows the draft. They know value. He’ll step in and immediately battle McKee for the number 2 spot
They've done it. Did it with Nick Foles his first time around. He came back only to win the Super Bowl. The ideal situation is he develops and gets enough time to attract interest so the Eagles can flip him for a 2nd rounder in about 2 years.
As both an Iggles' and SU fan, I really like Tanner McKee. Think he's this year's likely backup. But I can definitely see him being traded and the Birds' getting over-compensated, assuming he plays as well as he did last year.Good spot. Should win the backup job. One injury away from playing for a strong side.
SameThe QB for my favorite college team was drafted by my favorite pro team. I approve.
