I would love to have McCord go to the Giants, but unlike the Giants management, the Eagles are a very well managed team with a winning tradition. Go Kyle!

As both an Iggles' and SU fan, I really like Tanner McKee. Think he's this year's likely backup. But I can definitely see him being traded and the Birds' getting over-compensated, assuming he plays as well as he did last year.

Yeah McCord isn't passing McKee on the depth chart this year, if only because they trust McKee and he's been there and in the system longer. The Eagles value the QB2 position more than almost anyone. But they will trade McKee after this season when Kyle proves he's just as good, with more upside.

Then Kyle will get his reps as they come, and if Jalen stays healthy going into his 30s Kyle will be traded for a 1st or 2nd rounder. If not, Kyle could take over in Philly.

That's my prediction, at least.

And to those mentioning Eagles backup QB trades, don't forget AJ Feeley to the Dolphins for a 2nd rounder.

Love the location. Hurts has battled injuries every season. If McCord wins battle for #2 he will see game action

It's not a bad spot. Tanner McKee likely gets traded after this season if McCord proves he can be QB2 (he will). Eagles backup QB gets more snaps than most teams because they're likely to have nothing to play for the last game of the year and have some mop up duty available.

This is a great point. Still sucked to see him not picked for a clear opportunity with the Colts to challenge for a starting spot this year or next.

As a giants fan, the only landing spot worse for him (me) than the eagles would be Dallas. Wish the Giants would have taken him but also acknowledge that the Giants haven’t had a capable OL in years, so probably best for him.

The Eagles retired 5 for McNabb quite a few years ago.
Their fans seem genuinely psyched that Kyle is coming home.
Genuinely happy for him.
I was a loyal Eagles fan while Donovan was there.
Will follow them again when Kyle plays
