This and what the Pavia situation shows is that you can throw past precedent and past strategy by the NCAA out the window.

I’ve said it all along and will keep saying it - this will come down to the NCAA’s feeling as to the likelihood of a lawsuit if they don’t grant the waiver. And they are burnt out on lawsuits.

When projected financial loss is involved, it changes things.

Money wise it is great to have a star like McCord in the NCAA rather then the NFL.
It makes the season opening game against

He didn’t shut it down, decision next two weeks. Obvious that if he comes back it’s to improve his draft grade. The top half of the draft is a huge difference than the bottom.

I think his preference is to come back.

He's coming back if he can. And folks are definitely more optimistic on that possibility than they were previously. Not sure what has happened to change the tone. I'm going to be anti bnoro on this one.

Usually having inside info is the most important factor in predicting this kind of stuff. But occasionally, it's reading the big picture situation - and I think that applies this time.

Big picture, the NCAA's interest of self-preservation may work in our favor here. I feel like it's 60-40 in our favor or better.

Then Villari and Tremble at tight end.
Have a good feeling Allen is back with Nixon and Willis.

Improve the offensive line even a little and this offense will be HUMMING again.

Defensively get us a pass rush and shore up the secondary. This team could be just as good, if not better than this year. This is, well, exciting

I found out about the appeal 3 games into the season but the fact that JRHEETER said it was in motion before the season even started tells me he really wants to come back and they have a big head start on this thing. I know he would make about $2m here next year so why not come back. Sure the schedule is brutal but basically the same offense can win 10 games and get in to the CFP with that schedule. Let’s gooooo

If Kyle comes back, we have a lot to sell portal players. Fill in the few gaps and all those tough games on our schedule become winnable. This is insane. When Gameday comes calling, we should tell them to pound salt. I'm kidding, I'd be excited to have them at SU.
