Kyle McCord to NFL Draft

From what was said, I think they thought it was in his best interest to go. But I’m sure they’d love to have him back if he was allowed and wanted to stay.
I happen to think he will have a good career in the NFL. better than he is rated now.
I just don't know what is available next year. There might be a chance to really move
up and that would mean a lot more dough

His waiver was denied. In fact it’s still not approved. He has an injunction from the court, not necessarily a win. Just a pause from them enforcing the rule on him.

Big difference as it’s a different circumstance and in no way relevant to Kyle.

I'm not sure if it is or isn't relevant for Kyle. This article covers Diego's case well:
What Pavia’s Win Means (And Doesn’t) For The NCAA And JUCO Transfers

The Judge's interpretation is that, with NIL, the NCAA is now regulating a labor market. Take this from the article:

Forbes said:
The court also reasoned that limiting the eligibility of junior college players harmed competition in the labor market by encouraging athletes to enroll in NCAA institutions instead of junior colleges, among other reasons. At that point, the onus was on the NCAA to articulate any procompetitive benefits of their eligibility rules.

Does kicking Kyle out harm competition in the labor market? I don't know. But imagine if I had to tell my employer to exclude me from a 5th meeting because I don't want to retire a year early and have someone younger take my spot. That's actually pretty @#$#ed.

FWIW, the staff wasn’t optimistic about Kyle returning earlier in the week and they felt that the NFL QB draft class is weak so he should capitalize on that even if he received a waiver.
I don’t know what staff specifically you are talking about, but I do know as of a week and a half ago Fran was telling a player he’s still trying to get McCord his 5th year to come back.

Hey, maybe the folks considering the appeal are from CAMDEN!!

I'll do the same, I will pledge your tax return, as well.

Kurtis Rourke at 25 just wrapping up his 6th year of football tonight.

22 year old Kyle asks for a 5th year and everyone loses their minds and says can’t do it rules are rules.
Please list the number of games he played each year.

FYI - all the bourbon talk was moved to the...wait for it... THE BOURBON THREAD!!!

Let's all get back to speculating on how long it will be until Kyle confirms he is returning for next year.

Or not.

Thanks!
True because a thread named McCord should be limited to discussion of expensive Scotch

McCord isn't "old" as he will be 23 next season which is not old. Day really screwed him by playing him in 5 games, in blowouts when not needed, his freshman year. Hopefully, Day will help McCord due to his mistake.
I/We know this but you'd be shocked how many of idiots think otherwise.

Speaking of which. Talk about a hot seat. If Day doesn't get a win today as 7 point favorites they're gonna scapegoat him harder than they did McCord and throw him out of the state.
