Well, we will see how good a rating system 247 has as they have him rated 111th on their qb board, a few spots below Belin.Don't count out Carney as a true frosh. He's enrolling early. Staff is VERY high on him.
I believe Kyle made the right choice. Timing was right for him with the qb draft class being as weak as it is. Leading the country in passing and a clean bill of health. He has to feel confident and upbeat with his success this year.Okay, I'd like to get the board's thoughts for an article (not quoting anyone directly). Did Kyle make the right move in heading to the 2025 NFL Draft, and by extension, who do you think will be Syracuse's starting QB next season?
agreed very impressiveBased on what I saw last night whoever was tooting Steve Angeli on this forum was not wrong. I would definitely go after him if he ever enters the portal.
After M Harrison, Jr. was drafted, he said his success was due to him being in the football facility all day. Apparently, you don't have to go to class at OSt; don't know if that is true for SU.I can imagine his mindset of going to classes and doing homework for classes instead of developing and watching film was probably many of us equivalents of being stuck in too many meetings at work instead of having time to do the work.
Us long as he goes early enough to get guaranteed money he made the right decision. As fir who starts spring ball will give everyone a chance.Okay, I'd like to get the board's thoughts for an article (not quoting anyone directly). The Texas people from what I heard had related him as 5th best in the state.Well, we will see how good a rating system 247 has as they have him rated 111th on their qb board, a few spots below Belin.

Angeli reminded me of McCord with how fast he got rid of the ball and went through his progressions.
Yea good call. I’d be a heck of a lot more worried if Nixon was at risk of getting sniped. I’m really excited to see what he does year 2. Imagine what he can do with an offense that isn’t so one dimensional and special teams that are just average next year.Us long as he goes early enough to get guaranteed money he made the right decision. As for who starts spring ball will give everyone a chance.
I don't think that will be settled until midway through practice in the fall. Nixon had 2 different QB's at Baylor and won with both.
Good luck Kyle -- hope he crushes it!!!
This decision ends what he called a “crazy ride” through college football that saw him go 22-4 as a starting quarterback at both Syracuse and Ohio State. He said he’s “forever indebted” to Syracuse for his time there and thanked his teammates, the staff and fans. McCord told ESPN: “With the way everything played itself out and what I’m hearing in terms of feedback at the draft, it just makes sense to go, after weighing all the options out.”
I'm sad
Yes I think Kyle made the right move. His NFL draft stock would not be any higher next year. I think he will be a top five QB drafted. I’m going with Rickie Collins at QB next year
Now that we have the official decision from Kyle, it will be interesting to see if we go after another bigger name, experienced Portal QB. I bet we will.
Anyone that isn’t excited for this kid needs to consider how all of these players being drafted looks good for the future for Cuse football we haven’t had kids drafted like we will this year in yearsThe best part of this whole thing is no mention of OsU. This is all cuse and he will rep cuse everywhere from here on it. Congrats Kyle. Every kids dream to play in the league and he will do that soon. Excited to see what JW and RC do but I’m beyond high on JW
