I just realized the DK website I'm accessing must be in N.J. because it doesn't have JHU @ Rutgers either, in addition to Stony Brook/Monmouth & Binghamton/NJIT.

Brown gets their first win of the season. 11-10 over UMass
That slightly ameliorates UMd's narrow win over Brown. Further, it improves Brown's winning pct used in UMd's rpi from .000.

BU beats Army 14-9. Army did not play well. Never led. Never closer than 2. Had at least 5 failed clears. Drop out of the top 5?

I feel like this is why you don’t play Army. They always play Syracuse like it’s the Super Bowl, then they drop inexplicable Patriot League games they have no business losing, hence damaging RPI and the like.

Curious if they don’t win the PL tournament if they will make it in. Doesn’t seem like the PL is a two bid league.

Always had same thought and wonder why they don’t play a tougher schedule. Usually they will have 1-3 maby good teams on it but then rest is PL or lower tier games. So maby they get complacent or start playing at level of comp later in schedule. But man do they always always play n give cuse a game. Respect for army but agree at times hate playing them for how they battle us. Then again they’re usually a decent ranked team so can be a good win when do beat them but we have struggled to beat them last 2-3 times.

1000%, this is exactly why I wasn't a fan of putting them back on the schedule. Happens every single year.....

Yale -2
St Joes -3.5
Penn St -3
Duke -3.5 (gotta think they will be ready after thumping by Cuse)

Syracuse +3 Duke (W)
Lemoyne -1.5 St John’s
Georgetown +1.5 Richmond
Penn State -3 Ohio State

Wouldn't be an issue if the Orange beat them. I like having tough non conference games on the schedule, I believe that's how the team gets better and prepared for ACC play.

Simple as that!! Can’t put a price on the experience of a game like Army. BU not a total cupcake so I think they can recover if we are worried about RPI with the loss. Character building game and we maybe don’t beat Hop without that bad taste in our mouth from the MD/Army games. Beating Duke cancels any complaining I would have done over Army losing to BU.

Im not against scheduling difficult games, just Army in particular always seems like a bad bet. To me, they beat SU, fine, but then they don’t hold up their end of the bargain, and they end up consistently dropping games they shouldn’t, hence SU loss doesn’t look as good.
