LAX TV/Streaming Action for Feb 14-19

Something is off at Duke, way to much talent to have a every game against a Decent team be a life and death struggle.
It's Jr. as long as he is running the offense Duke will waste their talent.

Maryland (-4.5) vs. Syracuse

SECU Stadium
⏰ Saturday 1 p.m.

The McNaney news makes this one even more intriguing than it already was. What Terp offense will show up this week? The one that scored 20 against Richmond in Week 1 or the one that struggled to score seven against Loyola last week. Coach Tillman and the Bernhardt brothers are professionals and will find the right combinations to keep Maryland competitive. Syracuse faces their biggest challenge of the year in College Park. Joey Spallina (11G, 2A) leads the Orange in points. Gary Gait will need more midfield depth to support Finn Thompson and Jackson Birtwistle to give the orange a balanced offensive attack to support their talented attack.

man, that's weird highlighting lines in game headlines and articles.

you'd think they'd know maryland got 15 goals, not 20. i guess they got the opening line correct.

Man Denver has to be kicking themselves. Had the ball up one with just over a minute left and turned it over without wasting any time at all. Then gives up an unassisted goal to tie it to O’Neil. Brutal.

Tommy Schelling and Jamie Zusi have to be having some some regrets, no? Schelling had 69 points at Lehigh last year and now is seeing barely any shifts on the second midfield for the Blue Devils. He has just three assists this season. Zusi took over 300 faceoffs for an NCAA tournament team last year and finished above 50%. He has taken a grand total of 10 faceoffs this year for Duke. I’d love to know what Duke told these players their roles would be before they committed. What a waste of talent.

They told them that they would get a graduate degree for Duke and make lots of money in their real life.

Give him credit for trying to change the narrative or get his team pumped but the dudes a 4.5 pt favorite. It sounds ridiculous.
Agree! Underdog mentality - hilarious! The Terps are pretty stout at all positions on the field. And they have depth too.

UVA absolutely pounding Harvard. 8-0 on 10 shots with 8:30 left in the 1st Q.

UVA definitely has that ability, if you dont come out ready it will get real ugly real quick

Halfway through the 3rd and Harvard has 10 goals. Cavs should win comfortably, but they can be sloppy and undisciplined.

There not as good defensively, their weak at SSDM and the goalie play has been underwhelming

Final UVA 25 Harvard 21

Cavs don't have as much depth as in previous years. Cavs starters are very skilled and athletic. Reserves couldn't hang with Harvard.

Wow
Great defensive battle between the Buckeyes and UNC
6-4 for Ohio State in the 4th. Great goalie stats on both ends to go along with D.

Ohio State pulls away 8-5. Thought the UNC defense was pretty incredible till late in the game when the Buckeyes made some nice plays. The UNC offense is another matter. OSU was really good on defense but the Tar Heels made a number of bad plays and took some really questionable shots. They don't seem to have a number one dodger/playmaker (no duh, they lost Chris Gray). They seemed to really struggle if they had to posses the ball for more than 20 seconds. Only one second half goal and one goal was from Barton on a fast break.

Makes for an interesting matchup with Cuse. The Orange appear to have the better offense but UNC will be tough on D and Collin Krieg is a proven big game goalie. Will Mark should be able to match Krieg, particularly if UNC operates their offense as they did today.

Not surprised the Ivies struggled out of the gate with several weeks less practice and game experience.
