Duke down 9-5 in the third to Jax

Hop was up 3 on Gtown but now trails 10-5. Hop D is a mess

Jacksonville 14 Duke 12 final

Duke didn't look too good in the final four last year either.

Interesting in that Duke didn't really seem to have a plan when it needed a goal late. Lead mom had time and room for days but wouldn't pull the trigger, Robertson went 1 on 4 and turned it over and Montgomery was a non factor (not surprising)

Duke has been doing nothing with a boatload of talent recently. Naso appears to be out so they actually played an evenly matched game at the x for once. We would have beat duke easily last year if we had an even day with them at the x, and we were not exactly elite last year. Pretty embarassing stretch here for danowski. And we can't keep calling it February duke when May duke hasn't been much better recently. Really want to see us put up a serious fight against Duke and UNC this year.

Georgetown doubles up Hopkins 16-8. Hoyas were without TJ Haley.

Great finish in Charlottesville. High point battled and had two good looks at the end of the game.

Got a chance to watch the duke game last night. Worth watching mainly because the guy doing the color commentary was a Duke alum and was SALTY to say the least about the results. Complained openly about the refs for the whole second half (only on calls against Duke) and was constantly interrupting the play-by-play guy. Duke makes a bad play and he seemed completely unable to hide his anger. Worth watching for that alone!

Duke offense was pitiful. ONeill and Lulley are both serious matchup problems off the dodge but they barely initiated for the whole game! It was all middies from up top and nobody besides McAdory was really getting much going. McAdory legitimately looks like Tyreek Hill out there but in the end didn't have many points. They also took Dyson Williams out for a stretch to put Lulley at attack. And the shot selection was terrible! They would have scored way more with a little patience but just kept settling for poor low angle shots from up top. More and more I appreciate the movement we generate from our sets with Pat March.

The answer to O’Neill is to be as physical as possible and frustrate him into taking bad shots. His bull rush up from below GLE is his answer to everything. He’s starting to get exposed a bit.

it's like last year when they didn't utilize Sowers to initiate the offense for a long time.
