Can’t be a 3 pt shooting team and go 4-22. Defense looked as expected it would. Too many nerves out there from an older team.

You get one freebie- learn from it and show up more collected and focused going forward. Too early to tell if this is going to go up in flames but game 2 has to be much much better.

On another note of which has no bearing on this years fortunes…
I’ll say there is a weird vibe to playing a local game like this. Not so much to make excuses but this Lemoyne looked like the one that beat us years back- all for nothing for them and we were tight.

Not to forgive our brutal performance in any way, but LeMoyne is probably much better then the preseason #336 it has in KP.

We should still have whacked them either way.

One game. Learn a lot. Terrible defensively but they didn’t respect the opponent in my mind. Can’t give up 80+ to Lemoyne. Davis is a great player and I’m thrilled he’s on this team. Sometimes you gotta get punched early on

I didn’t see a team that didn’t respect their opponent. I saw a team of players that are both poor defenders and also don’t know what they’re supposed to do.

Davis is good. Disappointed in every other player that saw the court. I don’t see it with Taylor. Moore seems like the better bet to contribute at some point.

That wasn’t good. At all.

We didn’t look well prepared offensively. What was our plan? We ran few plays that sprung guys open for good looks. It was a jumble of individual efforts for most of the game.

Defense was flat out lousy.

It’s a long season and a lot can happen. I’ll hope for the best. But tonight stunk.
