Ah, that's right, forgot he was drafted very late.

Still, I don't think this helps his case. It could be a very big deal.
Coaching staff loves him from what I’ve been told from folks who are connected. Doubt this matters much. Training camp scuffles are normal in the NFL and they need guys who make the extra effort.

I saw a coach talking about it after the fact and he seemed fine with it, even seemed to like it.

Yeah, this.

It's football. Not tiddlywinks.
There's some violence, and I'm sure the coaches secretly (or not so secretly) love it when guys get riled up.

In LQA's defense (not that he needs it) -
maybe this other guy is a DB, and/or cheap-shotted him, late hit, or similar?

Maybe.

And maybe giving that dude what he deserves ends up costing LQAjr real dollars.
Yeah highly doubt it OiG. This is a gladiator sport. A one off emotional exchange isn't jeopardizing anything. If LA was a problem child, didn't hustle, didn't learn the offense then maybe something like that would be a final domino...maybe? The head coach earlier in the week gave LA a great compliment concerning effort, consistency and outcomes. He seems to be on solid ground and Richmondcuse from a contact heard that LA is strongly positioned.

I believe the other guy was an LB, but not sure why his position should matter
Matt Leblanc Whatever GIF

I'm very much hoping that the dust up is nothing and doesn't have any negative impact on LQA's career. Sometimes end of roster guys don't have a lot of slack.

Catches the ball which is one of the big reasons they need him.

Question has to be asked. If everyone knew we would have 4 draft picks, including record setting QB, RB, TE/WR, DE, and another WR looking like he could make a team, plus Marlowe and Barron….did we underachieve with a schedule against 2 ranked team. Losses to Stanford, BC, Pitt.

What’s the chances of having upperclassman leaders who got drafted like that? I’m still trying to figure out how our losses were to Stanford, BC, and Pitt. The latter owns us for some reason. The other 2 were ultimate head scratchers looking back.

If we would have won 2 of those 3, two we should have won on paper, we would have been firmly in the playoffs. So, yes, I think we somewhat underachieved.

I don't think we underachieved. None of our guys were drafted in early rounds, and we didn't have any young impact contributors that are sure fire future early round guys. I don't have evidence, but I'd guess most 10 win teams have at least 1 guy drafted in the first or second round. We can point to losses that we could have won, but there were other close wins that could have swung the other way. I think that's the case for a lot of teams. I think we were a team that figured more out as the season went along and took a few lumps along te way.
