LeQuint Allen to NFL Draft

I truly think Quint is better. Time will tell but i don't see Skattebo lasting long he is too much of a contact type runner, not very smooth.
Long term yes I agree Quint will be better. Skattebo just did all this year and had that type year that will be talked about for awhile. If he is the featured back in the NFL he will have trouble playing more then a handful of seasons with his style of running.

He won't last half year. He isn't breaking tackles at the NFL level like he did in college.

So if LQAjr gets drafted, does that change anyone's thinking in the Tucker vs Allen thread?
It doesn't for me. Tucker's draft status was affected by the health issues. He couldn't participate in any of the post season all star games, the combine, or private workouts, so we have no idea what his draft status would have been. My opinion of him is primarily shaped by his first two years and especially sophomore year. He ran against stacked boxes when everyone knew he was getting the ball and was a stud. It's unfortunate he got hurt early as a junior. I look at that year the same way I see Reyes's senior year. Even then he still had flashes and ran for over 1,000 yards for a team that had little threat of a passing game.

I have no clue on NFL draft evaluations really and am constantly surprised. Had no clue Pugh (Trex arms) would be a 1st rounder or Nassib a 4th rounder. Many I thought would get drafted didn't.
I am also amused with how negative many posters get on SU players like LA. No breakaway speed, only goes North and South etc. Probably fair enough but he hits the hole, runs hard and catches passed, which seems to be impressing scouts.
I wonder if we are missing others.

I wouldn't have bet LA would put up the athletic testing numbers, especially at his size, to get himself drafted, but maybe there is a 3rd down back role out there for him if he looks smooth running routes and catching. Dude's heart has never been in doubt.
