How about what has happened with Bernie? I'm not sure how they got the warrant to search his house. The feds generated it, so they have to be basing their actions on violations of federal law, right? Do they have grounds to investigate the original two accusers' claims? If not, how is it sufficient for one person's uncorroborated claim to justify a search and seizure?

I would not be surprised if Bernie were convicted (and actually did what is alleged). I would also not be surprised if the case unravels and he never in fact did what was alleged. Too much confusion, too many questionable participants, too much reasonable doubt for me at this stage.

The only one that comes to mind, if she was interviewed by authorities and lied, would be perjury.

I'm not sure what the groundwork for "obstruction of justice" crimes are, but it's possible she could face those issues if she did something after the fact to protect Bernie.

However, I doubt she would face any prosecution because the evidence for those types of crimes are difficult to prove.
