That was definitely ridiculous. He basically lept over the ball carrier and his arm may have grazed the helmet- but could not tell. Clawson was understandably losing his mind with the officials and kept trying to get them to look at the replay board.

It is too bad instant replay is foiling many of their best efforts. Somehow they ignored the replay on that ‘targeting’ call.

It is unfortunate such incompetent refs are doing bowl games.

Gotta give credit to RU for fielding a team for this farce. Never thought such an incompetent institution could pull this off. Yes, their football team got destroyed on the field and yes, they brought almost no fans for the game.

Still, this is easily the most impressive feat in the history of Rutgers athletics.
