Logo for the new AAC?

I hate that AAC bs, really promotes confusion...
I glanced at this thread's title and thought it pertained to new ACC logo...
How will that look? Have to incorporate KY and IN...

I'm guessing that was the intention.

I fell into the same trap.

He obviously stole his idea from me. I made this shortly after our move to the ACC was announced.

"The conference is also considering cities such as Louisville"

That sounds like a great idea!

Geno is really pushing the in-state angle. It doesn't shock me, but they are being so arrogant about it. 'We win championships (mens and women's), therefore we should be able to dictate the location of the future AAC tournaments.' What a mess that conference is going to be.

No chance Louisville hosts it. UConn won't let that happen.

This thing is going to Hartford. I think this casino proposal is to make Hartford look more attractive (as if anything really can).

I think they should have the exact same logo as the ACC with the one letter different and hope no one notices.

UConn's athletic director, Warde Manuel, said he doesn't see gambling as an issue, especially because the Mohegan Sun does not have a sports book.

"I think we're past the idea that having a tournament in an arena attached to a casino, that in some type of way we're influencing people to gamble," he said. "I don't see that tie."

I'll bet they're wrong.

That's good. This should be the new ACC logo:

I think it should be a shadow figure of John Marrinatto dropping a pass. This is his conference. He was more instrumental than anyone in it's existence.

I think he's right. Who the hell wants to bet on SMU - ECU anyway? ;)
