Syracuse did not get an easy path to New Orleans.

Ohio State might actually be the best team in the East Region.

Vanderbilt proved its worth with a run to the SEC tournament title through a victory over Kentucky on Sunday. If it can beat the Wildcats, this veteran-heavy squad can get through Syracuse and Ohio State, too. Don't be surprised if the Commodores reach New Orleans.

If the Buckeyes stay poised, they could go far. So I could see Thad Matta's squad winning the region.

Frank Martin's squad presents a tough second-game situation for the Orange. Syracuse can't keep teams off the offensive glass and it's not that tough inside. Kansas State is the Big 12's top rebounding team. This game could end Syracuse's NCAA tournament experience.

Was anyone watching that By the Numbers show or whatever it's called on ESPN2? They asked who the first one seed to lose would be, and Doug literally could not wait to say Syracuse. Like his hard-on was uncontrollable as soon as the question was being asked. As he's been saying all along, we've played no one, and all of our good wins came at home :blah:

Vandy is a good team but 2 of those 3 SEC tourney wins were to teams NOT goin to the NCAA tournament.

The pundits are overlooking Wisconsin a little bit to. Vandy will have to play a great game to get by them.

Honestly, I picked Vandy to lose in the first round. They haven't gotten out of the 1st round in the past 5 years. And I think Wisconsin will beat them if they get matched up.
