Clemson offense has been alarmingly bad this year so far. However, the D is still one of the top units in the country overall. We're 2 score dogs at home for a reason.

Need this dub to keep some interest in this season from the casual fans.

Seems to be a combination of a few things:

1. Offensive play-calling is archaic. There is no pre-snap motion, no crossing routes, and barely any plays over the middle.
2. Coaching turnover. Coaches have left and have been replaced with guys with zero D1 experience and it shows. Position groups in certain places don't appear to improve over time.
3. Refusal to change recruiting strategies. Clemson signs less than 25 recruits every single year. Dabo has said he will not bring anyone in from the portal, even though we have been beaten handily by LSU and OSU which brought in QBs.

Just to name a few of the problems...

Time to spend some money on former head coaches to work as consultants. They can take naps in the nap room.

As a lifetime Syracuse fan I fully expect DJU to go from one of the worst QBs in the ACC to Heisman contender in this game. Because that crap always happens.

Concern I have in this game is all the injuries and Clemson coming off a bye week. With all the injuries to the Oline we will keep everyone back so it will limit the passing game even more. Even with GS and Tucker giving it everything D will eventually wear out because we will not be able to constantly move the ball without some consistent passing.

This is the worst possible game - a talented elite level team that is unranked. Of course this will be the one game we win for the rest of the season.
