I imagine there are too many positive (or exposed) team members where Louisville can't place/field the minimum required 7 schollie players? Otherwise, your point does appear to have some merit since all ACC teams have that COVID tracking/tracing device, etc. It's why Buddy earlier in the year was the only scholarship player held out in that first circumstance...I think.

Okay so there would be times when the flu was going around a team and few guys would be out. They never postponed games. You field however many guys you have as long as u have 5 players on the court.

Okay so. Cases are going down across the country and the world. Please remember college athletes careers pro careers are on the line not just in football basketball for men and women. But other sports soccer hockey lacrosse softball. How many programs like these were folded last spring. Also think about the workers who work the games from vendors to ushers security to custodial who's jobs are gone not having fans in stands like here in Syracuse and the carrier dome.

The ACC could potentially give Syracuse back home games against Louisville or Clemson on March 3. We play March 1 at home against UNC and then have the rest of that week free. Louisville and Clemson have games on March 6. But that would still give them two days off between a March 3 Syracuse game and their final game of the season on March 6. I’m sure everyone wants to get in as many games as possible at this point.

actually not playing might be better. we are 10-5 things are messed up all over. schedules are not even.. but teams that were in last week like MSU is 8-7. Ind is 9-8.. Mary/Minn are 4-6 in B10.. Duke 7-6.

A winning record might look good when teams are racking up losses.. its not like they can say you should have scheduled better this yr..

People have been clamoring for a single-digit loss season. This might be just the ticket!

For you. Friend of mine lost her 59 YO otherwise healthy brother. My 15 YO nephew had it, not effects. The impact is so disparate that you just have to assume worst case scenario.
