we are 8-9 now. If we don’t win Saturday against ND, we won’t be .500 again. After Saturday we are going to lose 5 in a row, then we get BC and Miami

My prediction.
If we dont at least make the ACC tournament, I think Red could be asked to leave -or asked to get rid of some of the assistants. I just don't think JW is going to be willing to see our formally premier sport reduced to the level of a joke team.
The loss of revenue is bad, but the apathy is killer.
There is nothing else to do here in our winters but bball. If we cant even get 10,000 actual fannies in the seats, it is a huge flashing warning sign.

It looks even worse because of how well our football team is doing.
That shows with the right staff, good teams are possible. Should be much easier with bball than football since the team is so much smaller.

Louisville almost all experienced portal players.
Either Red can’t evaluate portal talent or we have shockingly little NIL.
Maybe both.
I was there and the second half was shockingly bad.
i never leave bball games early but I left around 5 min mark when down 21.
Had no hope of our making any kind of run.

Imagine Red's ineptness doesn't help grease wallers.

I was a basketball fan long before I was a Syracuse fan. This year's Duke team is an excellent team and great to watch if you are a basketball fan. The bonus is watching Flagg play. By far the best young player to come along in several years.
