On the recruiting board, a tweet from D. Strickland seems to indicate that next season's game vs. LSU will be played at ML Stadium.

I didn't see the tweet get much play on this board. Hopefully the kid is just mistaken.

I have faith this is an honest mistake. I don't think Dr.Gross would do this. If he does it will be a bad decision.
Giansante said on Friday in that article LSU was coming to the Dome.

Aaaaand, Alsacs doubles his post total

You are on a public internet board. If you can't have a little humor about yourself, maybe you'd better rethink using the internet. I have taken plenty of ribbing here. Doesn't bother me. Shake it off.

I hope not. LSU is a step up from ND. The program shouldn't endure another drubbing for the whole nation to see primetime.

I stand by my comment. After all the back and forths on this issue I took your comment as a cheap shot not a joke. If your meant as a joke fine but I honestly didn't find it funny. I only raise an issue/opinion which is pretty reasonable. I realize I am not always right but I am not a bomb thrower.

Not throwing bombs. It was meant as a joke, given your fervent (and numerous) responses to threads regarding MetLife games. Sorry you took it the wrong way. I will try to add numerous smileys in the future.
:p :D :)

Is it ok to rib you now that you're a "staff member"?

With the new playoff system, P5 teams need to schedule other P5 teams to boost their OOC resumes. With that being said, we will no longer NEED to play games down there in an effort to play better teams. Syracuse will schedule home and away's moving forward and at worst case scenario, they will schedule a home, away and away series.

the article on Saturday the game vs ND in 16 is the only game scheduled. LSu game will be a primetime game though

Everyone but you. ;)
You need to go for a ride on the back of Bobby Petrino's motorcycle.

If that happens I'm withholding my $500k donation next year.

I do wonder if that turnout made them reconsider the MetLife games at all. That was a pretty absurd turnout for a northern football game.

MetLife should consider doing an early season kickoff game like the Chick Fil A game in Atlanta. I wouldn't mind Syracuse being a pretty regular part of that.

There have been Kickoff Classics in the Meadowlands for years. Unless either PSU or ND is involved, attendance has been poor.

SU drew 57k against USC in 1990, 51k against Wisconsin in 1997, and only 41k against Ga Tech in 2001.

The attendance and coverage it received was entirely due to Notre Dame. ESPN was creaming themselves having the rights to a Notre Dame game.

A good idea but wouldn't these days any neutral primetime 'marquee' game be poorly attended from an SU standpoint, even in the NE? I'm tired of seeing these 'New York's College Team' games in the Meadowlands where it's a road game pretty much.

EDIT: Maybe vs Texas or Boise St in MetLife or FedEx? That would be cool. We can't compare attendance-wise to a ND or Penn St game in the NE.
