Actually Luke was #3 at start of season. Filardi was #5 mix with Belin.

Yes. You honor agreements with families and players otherwise you quickly get a bad reputation. Is what it is. He didn’t cut it here. Everyone always assumes a backup is better. Sometimes they’re not. (As we all learned this year)

Clearly not a system fit. He'll be successful somewhere else where they emphasize QB run and play action. Now why the QB room after Angeli was filled with non system fits besides Filardi (not that he is good, but if he ever develops he would be good and fit the offense), hopefully is a thing of the past going into future seasons. I do know they've said they will adjust the offense regardless moving forward.
