So we sound like the average college football fanbase.
And a fairly typical SU season.
The McCord year looks more and more miraculous.

Well, kinda, yeah. And a fairly typical SU season.

Other than the Covid year the last 4-8 season was 2017. I wouldn’t say it’s typical at all.A fairly typical record, sure, but it's not like this season will blend in with other 4-8 type performances.
When you put it in perspective, Steve going down is probably the most impactful injury we've had this century. Maybe ever.
Sagarin has the Pitt game as a “pickem” right now. Nothing monumental. A pure coin flip. Nixon with 2 weeks. I think we’ll be ok.Everyone is missing the big picture. Right now, Narduzzi is salivating about October 18th at 7:30 pm. He gave McCord fits last year and will really dial it up for this game with a struggling quarterback to go against. Personally I think Coach Brown is between a rock and a hard place. Either option against Narduzzi is going to be a monumental struggle. I also worry about playing Pittsburgh off a bye, especially if Collins looks the same in practice. In my humble opinion a true miracle needs to happen in the next two weeks. Let’s hope we get one. Go Orange!!!!
