I was watching the game again last night. It’s just not Ricky’s decision making. His throws are bad. On the first interception he sails the ball over cooks head right to the safety. A good throw would have been a first down. On the next series throws the ball almost over Willis head. Willis goes up and barely tips the ball. If he had not got a hand on the ball another easy interception. Those are just two quick examples of poor throws.

Yea he’s just not a power 4 quarterback I thought the kid was going to win the job . I was wrong Fran needs to give the reins to carney Rickie has shown us what he has.

Fran better find a QB now, because you don't know if Steve will be the same when he gets back. You also don't know if he will be game ready at the beginning of next year.
So find out now whether one of the freshman can play, because if the can't, you need 2 transfers in the spring.

If Angeli is out for the Spring it might help or chances of getting a transfer QB. Fran can tell them you will be QB1 in the Spring and have a chance to keep that in the Summer when Angeli is back. That might be appealing to someone.

I love Fran but have to call out his faults too. He’s a bit in over his head with Rickie. That’s what you get in a first time head coach in his second year. He needs to move on from Rickie. It’s not so much about the coaches still trusting Rickie at this point.

It’s more that it’s VERY obvious during the games that the players really have no confidence or faith they can win with Rickie. Carney when he was in played well. Granted very limited sample size. But you gotta try something until something sticks. Rickie is not working. If Fran sticks with Rickie he is basically just punting the season away. Which is a horrible look in my opinion

If this is real and it’s a booster making him start Collins then su needs to dump the booster. There’s no way this can be true. They would write it off as a loss and move on.

Cause most guys dont miss their throws bye 5 yds or more. Collins misses guys all the time bye a lot. Its too the point i feel its pure luck when he makes a throw. If carney can throw neer the open guy or look a guy or 2 off he dont need to be Mccord. Just keep the ball moving and for the love of god stop with the offsides. This is a coaching problem Carney isn’t winning us games. I had multiple folks that went to the GT game tell me how bad certain management aspects were and quite frankly it’s more troublesome than a quarterback issue. Why put in a freshman who could have a bright future and let him take a beating? There are things you can’t see on TV (I watch all the games on TV from Florida) that you can’t see until someone who objectively sees them from the stands can see that left me shaking my head. Quite frankly we are worse off than I thought. The fact that King seldom had to throw the ball 10 yards past the line of scrimmage to gash is is just as big a problem as our QB situation. But I’ll bite yes accuracy is a problem but you are also assuming Carney is capable of making the quick reads necessary to even be in position to make throws. Dale Williams should be gone … period hard stop. Can we bring in Sam Pittman I hear he isn’t busy. Seemed to help Ole Miss when they scooped up Matt Luke. Frankly this ability to leverage coaching retreads to revitalize careers is what made Saban succesful.
