I like where your head is at, but wonder if it is a little more straightforward. My WAG is an announcement of the naming gift for the indoor practice facility.

I thought that at first, but there isn't much marketing reach with a direct gift for the IPF. If there was a package where naming rights to the Dome were given to pay for the IPF, that would give some return on the investment.

Why would SU in NYC get to take part? They can't move the Fl. St. game to the Meadowlands as someone suggested because it is Orange Central weekend (aka homecoming).
Even the naming rights, which I thought was a good one, what would that have to do with SU in NYC.

Actually they could introduce the new uniforms, and the big surprise is when one of the uniforms has the number "44" on it. And that is how they bring it back. That covers the rumors of uniforms, but the "44" is the added big surprise. Still not sure how to tie it to NYC, but maybe something with playing at the Meadowlands and the re-introduction of the number "44" at that game? And maybe 44 NYC alumni will recreate the flashdance they did for National Orange day?
Hell, if that is not it, then I should be in charge of surprises cause that would all be good, lol.
